offering Kinesis in Lowry
Dr. Debbie Maass earned her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Physical Therapy from Regis University and is a former NCAA Track and Field All American. Having attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins for her Bachelor’s degree in communication disorders, Dr. Maass now specializes in Lymphadema management to reduce the swelling in post surgical Cancer survivors.
Dr. Maass currently works as a staff therapist for Kaiser Permanente in the Orthopedic department, while advancing her training to teach on the newly added Kinesis movement system for Mile High Physical Therapy. Her accomplishments in athletics have enabled her to provide the motivation to help others achieve their fitness goals.
Cross Country Runner
The passion for helping others was developed in Dr. Maass’s consistent pursuit of athletic endeavors. She has competed in the USA Cross Country Nationals and the Colorado Relays. Dr. Maass’s personal best includes having run the mile in just 4 minutes 45 seconds. Her accomplishments have given her the understanding of what it takes to get and stay in shape for a lifetime.
Dr. Maass enjoys running with her husband, playing with her three children and working out on the Kinesis regularly.
